David J Skelton
I write reflective, conversational non-fiction that invites readers to slow down and think, rather than be told what to think. My writing is grounded, accessible and deliberately human, designed to feel like a discussion rather than a lesson. I focus on clarity without oversimplifying, encouraging readers to recognise themselves in the pages and reach their own understanding through reflection, curiosity and lived experience.
Experience
My background spans engineering, business ownership, leadership and large-scale transformation within UK social housing and public services. I have worked from frontline delivery to board-level strategy, leading complex change, improving services and building practical frameworks that connect strategy to reality. This experience shapes my writing, grounding it in what actually happens inside organisations, communities and everyday working life.

Kayleigh Storey
Kayleigh is a calm, thoughtful writer whose non-fiction gently guides rather than instructs. Her strength lies in creating safe, reflective spaces for readers, using clarity, warmth and emotional intelligence to nurture understanding and growth. She writes with care and purpose, helping readers feel supported as they explore complex ideas, personal change and quieter truths. Her work encourages confidence, self-awareness and progress at a natural, human pace.
Experience
Kayleigh’s experience comes from years working across the social sector, from completing her degree into frontline social service roles. She has worked within MASH teams and fostering services, supporting complex safeguarding and family needs, alongside experience in recruitment and hospitality. This varied background gives her a grounded, people-first perspective, shaping writing that is compassionate, practical and deeply aware of real-world pressures, systems and human vulnerability.
